China FAW Group Corporation (formerly called First Automobile Works), commonly referred as "FAW", is China's oldest and largest automaker. The company broke ground for its first factory on July 15, 1953. It was the beginning of China's auto industry.

So far, the total sale of various types of FAW vehicles has exceeded 30 million that distributed in demostic and overseas market. Demostic distribution is forming in four bases in Northeastm North China, Southwest, South China, located in Changchun, Jijin, Harbin, Dalian, Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Wuxi, Chengdu, Liuzhou, Qujing, Foshan, and Haikou etc. The products include a full range of:  passenger cars,  light-, medium-, & heavy-duty trucks, buses and minibuses as well as various assemblies and components.

A Battery Electric 5.5-ton Goods Vehicle is designed by FAW in order to replace diesel goods vehicles and solve exhaust emissions problem.
